A letter from our president.
It’s been another exciting year at Opaa! with a growing number of school districts
taking advantage of our many nutritional and organizational benefits to offer their students.
We are proud that we were able to project improved food service bottom lines to each of our
nine new client school districts in 2006-07. Information like this directly complements the
Opaa! definition of success: Making a difference in the lives of our customers nutritionally,
emotionally and financially.
2006-07 highlights include:
- Providing research, professional guidance and collaboration to our client school districts
as they implemented the new federally mandated Wellness Policies
- Earning positive results from a recent Employee Survey in which our team members think
very highly of Opaa!, especially in the areas of commitment, culture and family
- Partnering with a large number of our school districts last spring to provide reimbursable
breakfasts to all students during MAP testing at little cost to the districts
- Leveraging relationships with our vendors and manufacturers to provide additional branded
products on our menus and prizes for marketing programs
At Opaa!, we are very appreciative of the relationships that have made us successful and we
look forward to continuing to Make The Day of everyone we serve during the 2007-08 school year.
