Debbie Linke Named Opaa!'s Regional Director of the Year 2007
At its annual Summer Retreat July 17-19, 2007, Sheila Middleton, Vice President of Operations for Opaa! Food Management, announced Debbie Linke, Opaa!'s Regional Director of Operations for eastern Missouri as the recipient of the 2006-07 Regional Director of the Year award. Company officials selected Debbie as Regional Director of the Year from among Opaa!'s Regional Directors of Operation across the state of Missouri. Middleton described Debbie as, "a very positive and caring person and has been a long time Regional Director of Operations. This year she has two of her directors in the President's Circle and has been elevated to one of the Team Captains for our Regional Directors of Operation staff."
Debbie has been an Opaa! employee for the past eight years and as a Regional Director of Operations for the past six years. Previously she served as Opaa!'s Director of Nutrition Services for the Montgomery County R-II School District.
Debbie and his husband Kevin, live in Wright City, Missouri and have two children: Tyler, 15 and Lauren 12. Debbie stated that they are always on the run with the kid's sports and practices. They love to watch their kids play soccer and softball and Tyler is in the drama group at school. Debbie likes to go out for family outings to the show, shopping, dinner, and ballgames.
As Regional Director of Operations, Debbie supervises six school districts and one Assistant Director in her region. On receiving the award Debbie said, "This is the first time I've received this award and it's an honor to have been selected as the Regional Director of Operations for the year." She went on to say, "it has been a goal of mine for 2 years to achieve this award and now it has final come true, even through I've been a Regional Director of Operations for the past six years and that it wasn't me, it was my GREAT TEAM".
Opaa! Food Management, Inc., is based in Chesterfield, Missouri, and is entering its 29th year of operation. Opaa! currently operates the nutrition programs for 61 Missouri school districts.
