Each month we will be featuring those unique and special recipes from members of the Opaa! Food Management News family that are requested over and over because they are so delicious. Ultimately, we will be featuring a collection of these recipes in our first "OPAA! Family Cookbook".

May 2004
Lemon Bars
Crust:
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 2 cups flour
Instructions:
Mix together and press in a 9"x13" baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
Topping:
- 4 eggs
- 4 Tablespoons flour
- 6 Tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 t. baking powder
Instructions:
Beat together and pour over hot crust. Bake for 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
Garnish by dusting with sifted powdered sugar.
